Confessions: The Private School Murders

The book I read was Confessions: The Private School Murders by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro. This book is 400 pages long. If you liked the first book and the mysteries in it, you should definitely read this sequel. This is part of a 4 book series. I also like the descriptions that aren’t too gory but still descriptive enough so that we can visualize it.

<SPOILER ALERT!! READ THE 1ST BOOK RIGHT NOW!!>

This book starts off with the leftover Angels being introduced to their new chaperone: their (not known) Uncle Jacob right after their brother, Matthew, has been convicted of a double homicide of his wife and supposed child of his father after an “affair”. (UUUGHGHHGHGHGHGH) Jacob sets rules that they accept. (even though they never had rules before) Then, the next day after school, Tandy sees a corpse of a wealthy girl, Adele, from her own school shot 3 times in the park. After that, they leave for court to witness Matty’s trial and skipping school. Then, they get grounded for not telling Jacob about where they were going. The next day, Tandy starts interviewing kids at her school to find out who could’ve murdered her. Since she has to leave after that, she leaves C.P. up to interview everybody. She finds out that another murder had also been committed, but this one looked like a suicide, yet there was no suicide note and the girl was on anti-depressants. Then, Tandy and C.P., on their way to school, find another dead body on the bridge on their way to school. This was also a murder, and it was done the same way, by a gun. (The suicide was also found with a gun in their hand) C.P. books them an interview with the victim’s mom, and they find that she was also on drugs. Tandy grabs the bottle and runs off to Matty’s (2nd) hearing. The case keeps getting worse and worse until it feels like Matty won’t be able to back himself up without the biggest piece of evidence there could be. Tandy is on the trail of both murders and is starting to connect the dots, but will she solve the cases before she becomes the next death? Will she safely find the murderers and bring Matty to justice? Find out in Confessions: The Private School Murders by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro!
