The Gift

The book I read was The Gift by James Patterson and Ned Rust. This book is 320 pages long. Another book by James Patterson is Kiss the Girls, the second book in the Alex Cross. (and not about kissing) I love this book because we are introduced to more characters than ever before.

The book I read was Witch and Wizard by James Patterson and Gabrielle Charbonnet. This book is 368 pages long. Another book by James Patterson is along came a spider, the 1st book in the Alex Cross series. I love this book because they keep switching between perspectives at random times and leave us eager for more.

Wisty is a normal (well, almost normal) girl who lived in the suburbs of the city with her brother Whit and her parents. They’re just two normal people when soldiers burst into their home screaming Witch and Wizard. They are kidnapped and thrown into a prison, where they are left until Whit finally finds Celia, his dead girlfriend, again, by putting his head through a wall. Then, Wisty finds her new ability, a blaze that flickers out whenever she feels strong emotions. They finally realize They narrowly escape with their lives thanks to Celia. (Crazy, I know) But then, a dog follows them into their escape route which they become friendly with and adopt. They go to Garfunkel’s, the Resistance’s current base. They meet the entire Resistance, just 50 or so kids, and learn of more kids stuck at other prisons just like theirs. They stage a prison break of the one that the Witch and Wizard were stuck in. Will they be able to grab the hundreds of kids and escape with their lives. Or will they die in a blaze of glory? Find out in Witch and Wizard by James Patterson and Gabrielle Charbonnet!
